#38 WLFC I used to think, but what if...
I love a good fill-in-the-blank and this week, I'm spilling everything I used to think with much humility. Gulp.
It’s obviously not a Wednesday when this is arriving in your inbox. Case in point, I’ve been thinking it’s Thursday since Tuesday and thus, I’ve had zero concept of time and totally did not write the weekly blog on time - whoops! For that, I apologize.
I’m once again writing to you in bed having just housed some tacos and Sour Patch Kids leftover from a private embodied spirituality retreat this past weekend. We watched a Netflix documentary and ate candy one night and it was awesome!
I got off the phone about two hours ago with my boyfriend and when he said, what are you gonna write about, I said, “I’ll find out when I open my laptop.”
And now that I’m here, what my typing fingers most want to bring to your attention this week are two fill-in-the blank statements that stopped me in my tracks this week. I love a good fill-in-the-blank. Ya know, the type of writing or coaching prompts where they say the first couple words and then you riff from there with whatever comes up? I find those to be extremely juicy and telling statements that allow for self reflection and as your coach, much insight into your state of mind.
I haven’t pre-thought out my answers to these statements. I haven’t journaled about them and organized my thoughts ahead of time. No, I’m going to open that up right now with you and by the end, we’ll see how it comes together and pings your heart.
From career, to babies, and love, I used to think, but what if…
